Child Safety Standards

1. Our commitment

The Curse of Pepper Legs has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This page sets out our publicly published standards, the practices we follow, and how anyone can report concerns. We do not allow any content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors, and we act quickly to remove it and report it to the appropriate authorities.

2. Age of users

The Curse of Pepper Legs is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app is rated for Teen audiences and older. If we learn that a child under 13 has registered an account, we will delete that account and any associated content. See our Privacy Policy for details.

3. Prohibited content

We prohibit, and will remove, any user content that:

• Depicts, describes, or promotes the sexual abuse or exploitation of minors.
• Sexualizes a minor in any way, including illustrated, animated, or AI-generated material.
• Recruits, grooms, or solicits minors for sexual purposes.
• Shares or seeks content that could identify or endanger a child.
• Promotes or facilitates child trafficking.

This applies to all user-generated content in the app, including curse titles and descriptions, photos, planting locations, and comments.

4. How users can report

Any user can flag inappropriate content directly in the app using the report (flag) button on a photo or curse, or through our Support page. Reports of suspected child safety concerns are treated as the highest priority and routed directly to our moderation team. We aim to review every report promptly and remove violating content as soon as it is identified.

5. How we respond

• We remove content that violates these standards and may suspend or permanently ban the account responsible.
• We preserve records of reported content and related account information as may be required by law and for reporting to authorities.
• We report suspected child sexual abuse material (CSAM) to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via the CyberTipline, and to other relevant regional and national authorities as required.
• We cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations.

6. Moderation

Our community is moderated by designated administrators who review flagged content. We use a combination of user reports and administrator review to identify and act on violations. We do not rely on automated detection of CSAM, but we respond to every report and escalate any suspected child-safety matter immediately.

7. Designated contact

Our designated point of contact for child safety matters is ready and able to speak about our CSAM prevention practices and compliance. To raise a child safety concern, contact us through the in-app reporting tools, the Support page, or the developer account contact email associated with this app on the Google Play Store.

8. Relevant laws and authorities

We comply with all applicable child safety laws, including the U.S. CHILDRENS Act, 18 U.S.C. § 2258A reporting obligations, and other regional and national requirements governing the detection, removal, and reporting of child sexual abuse material. We report to the appropriate authorities in the jurisdictions where we operate and where our users are located.

9. Changes to these standards

If we materially change these standards, we will update the date above and publish the revised version on this page. This page remains publicly available and is not delivered as a downloadable document.
